JNL East Coast is looking for Expressions of Interest for Silvicultural Contractors to grow a long-term working relationship with. <br/>
Work packages on offer include: <br/>· 3rd lift (5.2 m - 8.5 m) ex-farmland located within 30-45 minutes from Gisborne town. <br/>· 1st (0 2.8 m) and 2nd (2.8 m - 5.2 m) lift operations in cutover all located within 30-45 minutes from Gisborne town. Eucalyptus form pruning. <br/>
We invite Expressions of Interest for these operations. Respondents will be evaluated on health & safety record and systems, relevant experience and available resources (equipment and personnel). <br/>

TCC has made a few changes to how we would like your responses to be submitted.<br/>

The City is responsible for the management of over 900 ha of conservation reserves. These reserves contain a diverse range of vegetation types including wetlands, samphire communities, coastal heath and a range of different woodland communities. These reserves also contain Threatened Ecological Communities (TECs), Declared Rare Flora (DRF) and habitat for conservation significant native fauna species including several listed as Matters of National Environmental Significance (MNES). <br/>
These reserves are valuable to the City, the general community which includes a number of very active volunteer bushland conservation groups.<br/>
The proposed scope of work includes the following:<br/>

Environment Canterbury manages around 3,500 hectares of pine forest plantation throughout Canterbury. We require a suitably qualified Contractor to supply Silvicultural Services for several of our pine forest plots from July 2018 to June 2021. <br/>
The Sites for silvicultural work are potentially spread from Kaikoura to Lake Tekapo although the vast majority of work will be centred on the Waimakariri and Ashley Rakahuri Rivers. <br/>
The work will consist of standard Silvicultural tasks including planting, thinning and pruning. Suppliers are invited to submit prices for each of the outlined work tasks on the Response Form provided, plus rates for any additional work that may be required.
