PROSPECTIVE SUPPLIERS FOR THE HORIZON POWER REMOTE COMMUNITIES CENTRALISED SOLAR PROGRAM.<br/>
Horizon Power invites suppliers local to the Warmun and Kalumburu Communities to register their interest for opportunities that arise from the delivery of the Centralised Solar Program. This program will delivery solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Warmun and Kalumburu. Horizon Power will be tendering to EPC contractors (Head Contractors) for these sites on or about 20 May 2019.<br/>
Horizon Power is committed to implementing the State Government's Aboriginal Procurement Policy and Western Australian industry Participation Strategy (WAIPS). To support these objectives, potential EPC Contractors will be requested to demonstrate an active commitment to Aboriginal and local business engagement, with a focus on these communities.<br/>
The scope of the EPC works includes:<br/>
Civil works services including land clearing, levelling and fencing.<br/>
Solar works including installation of arrays, cabling and associated electrical works;<br/>
Ancillary services that may include project or off-site works (accommodation, catering, transport etc).<br/>

Description: Horizon Power invites suitably qualified Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contractors to register their interest in being considered for the delivery of the Remote Communities Centralised Solar Program to deliver photovoltaic (PV) / battery energy storage systems (BESS) solutions to integrate into the existing network in two remote Aboriginal Communities. <br/>
Experience in delivering similar projects in a head contractor capacity will be highly regarded.<br/>
A Request for Tender (RFT) for the Kalumburu and Warmun sites, is due to be released to the market on or about 20 May 2019. Respondents are invited to bid for one or both sites. <br/>
